Visiting the Historic RailPark & Train Museum allows students to connect with the past, appreciate the engineering marvels of the railroad era and gain a deeper understanding of how railroads shaped the nation’s history and culture.

RailPark
Climb aboard the restored railcars that include the E-8 Engine, Presidential Office Car, the Duncan Hines Dining Car, a luxury Pullman Sleeper and 1921 Post Office Car. As you tour through the railcars, stories unfold of a slower-paced era when railroad travel was a way of life.
Train Museum
Explore our two-story, self-guided, Museum filled railroading history! Ask the cook, engineer, and conductor questions. Discover the hobo code. Meet one of the famous Pullman Porters from the 1920’s and learn about the role the railroad has played in Bowling Green history.

Teacher / Chaperones
We ask that one adult accompany every 10 students. Group leaders are responsible for student behavior and must remain with the students.
Food
Your group is welcome to bring sack lunches to eat at designated areas. Arrangements must be made at time of reservation. Visitors may not take food or drink into the museum.
Photography
Guests are welcome to take photographs in the museum. When making a group reservation, you are allowing the Historic RailPark & Train Museum permission to use the group or individual for publication and marketing.
Student Group Rates & Reservations
We offer special rates for student groups of 15 or more. Group reservations can be made by calling Debbie Eaton at 270-745-7317 or by completing the Student Tour Reservation Form. We ask for at least two weeks advance notice in order to ensure the best experience possible!
